Great location within walking distance to see the nearby attractions. The paid parking fee in the basement of the hotel is reasonable. Breakfast is great, and the lobby is big with a nice outside seating area.

The location is perfect as at the edge of the main city centre, there is also a bus stop to the central train station right outside the hotel. The rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed including a complementary bottle of water. Reception is open 24/7 which is great as you can also have a night cap at their little bar after a night out.

A lovely little hotel in a great location - walking distance to all the ancient sights of Trier as well as the city centre, bars and restaurants. The room was a little jaded but was spacious and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast !

We were in a quick trip from Frankfurt to solve important stuff in Trier. We need a coworking or something, but we arrive very late and the Hotel makes all the possible to help us. The hotel have an enourmous first floor plenty of meeting rooms, tables, tables and more tables. Is awesome for business travelers that need to work.

We came by motorcycle and unfortunately the battery drained whilst not in use and could not be unlocked or started on the day of our departure. However the staff on duty were incredibly helpful and another colleague of the receptionists had a set of jump leads to solve the problem. Another colleague spoke to a local BMW Motorad garage and entered their address on my GPS. Thanks to the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff my wife and I continued on our holiday with no further problems. The date of our departure was Tuesday 25 July 2023. Room and ensuite of a very high standard. Two double beds! Hotel as a whole really very very good - above the usual Best Western standard in my experience. Basement parking was a serious bonus. Amazing breakfast range with lots of and lots of seating. Location is excellent also - a brief walk to the centre of Trier.

Best Western Hotel Trier City is located in central Trier within a short bus or taxi ride from the train station. The hotel and room are fine, but the Wi-Fi situation (at least on the 2nd floor where my room was) was unacceptable for a business-style hotel. For the two days I was at the hotel, the Wi-Fi signal only worked sporadically and when it did it was only at very low speeds. I asked reception to fix the problem, but they told me there was nothing they could do. Disappointing.

Great location, walking distance to old part of town and Christmas markets. Nice lobby area with bar, room was small yet comfortable for one. Some of the reviews complain about a shower curtain, got a laugh out of that. Is that really an issue? I would say the tub could use a mat, quite slippery. Everything very clean.

Very spacious lobby and outside area for guests to relax in, which included a pool table (every hotel should get one!). Reception staff very helpful generally, but in particular when we did have an issue with many breakfast items not being available one of the days we stayed, they didn't try to ignore the complaint and give us a discount on that part of the stay. Problems can always arise but it's how they are resolved that matters. Excellent location at start of pedestrian zone of the city.
